New Amsterdam Consulting was founded in 2000 by R. Bradley Snyder. Since then, New Amsterdam Consulting has helped research and develop industry-leading direct services, television programs, videogames, social campaigns, and other products for children, youth, and families. 

In July 2004, New Amsterdam Consulting’s work collecting and analyzing data on and from incarcerated youth helped the United States Justice Department win the prestigious Innovations in American Government Award from the Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard University.
